Get a Uniform Smile with Teeth Straightening Services

Why are human eyes constantly drawn to a single flaw? If you have misaligned teeth, you might feel like it’s the only thing people see when they look at you. But what if we told you that you could align your smile with minimally invisible braces; would you try it?

Teeth Straightening in Mississauga Area

At Dentistry On 10, we offer Invisalign treatment to straighten your teeth and correct bite misalignments.

What is Invisalign treatment?

Most patients are thrilled with how Invisalign treatment can correct teeth misalignment without brackets and wires. Today, you have the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at how clear braces work.

The Invisalign treatment process starts with Dr. Rina Kotecha taking precise 3-D digital impressions of your mouth. We use an intraoral camera, so you don’t have to worry about goopy moulds. Next, we send the digital images to a dental lab to create your aligners.

Adult braces are created from BPA-free plastic, custom-made to fit your mouth snugly. You will have to wear a series of trays, but each newer set shifts your teeth closer to perfection. While adult braces are removable, dedication is a virtue – you must wear your aligners at least 20 to 22 hours a day for the next 12 to 18 months.

Is everyone a candidate for Invisalign treatment?

Invisalign aligners are called adult braces for a reason. This treatment is ideal for older teens and adults because their gums and teeth have stopped growing. Besides, children may not have the dedication to wear clear braces as they should, compromising the effectiveness of this treatment.

Dr. Kotecha advises that you seek restorative treatment before embarking on adult braces if you have active gum disease or cavities.

What’s the cost of clear braces?

There is no one-size-fits-all cost for Invisalign treatment. The price depends on the severity of your misalignment and how long it takes to correct your teeth. If you come to our practice, we will examine your teeth and advise on the cost.
