Juvy – Office Manager

Juvy is a bubbly, caring and warm person that has been working in the dental field for over 12 years. She has a very approachable personality and loves to help others. This trait really shines through as patients really love her and are always so happy to return to say hello.

Since 2006, she has been attending many courses, seminars, and training to enhance her knowledge in dentistry and helps patients with the utmost care.

She is married to Ed for over 12 years and counting:) and presently lives in Mississauga. She is the youngest in the family with 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Her hobbies are playing organ and singing in the choir at her church.

Janet – Dental Hygienist

Janet graduated from the dental hygiene program at George Brown College, Toronto in May 1999. Her 20 years of experience and skills as a gentle and thorough dental hygienist at this practice has been a major asset. Along with Dr. Rina Kotecha and the rest of the staff, she is part of what makes our practice patient-centric. She loves to educate patients about how their dental health impacts the whole body, and when you meet her, she might remind you, “People who have teeth live longer than those without teeth.” In addition to the joy she finds in helping her patients achieve healthier gums and teeth, Janet also enjoys swimming and playing with her kids in her free time, and she especially looks forward to meeting new patients like you.

Dr. Rina is an amazing dentist and made me feel so comfortable because she was so skilled and knowledgable. She spends the time to get to know each of her patients. Janet, the hygienist, is awesome at what she does. The receptionists are so kind and make every visit so pleasant. I have been at this clinic for many. many years and I love it!

Everything changes after getting a hair cut or getting a good massage. But for me coming in for a teeth cleaning I was a bit moody at first but after the treatment I felt more relaxed Thanks Janet my hygienist for having such gentle hands when treating the sensitive areas I fear most. Keep up the great work !! And all Associates "Dentistry on 10 Is a perfect place to go to for your dental needs". Dr Rina and her staff are perfect and friendly... I highly recommend this place .

Janet is professional and thurough. Knows her "stuff" when it comes to oral hygiene. Insists on following her recommendations for positive results. I like that the office promotes non-invasive and preventive methods.

I was sold within minutes of my first consultation. Dr Rina is very knowledgeable and understanding. She is patient and will work with you to get the best results. Her team (Sumaira, Janet, Juvy, Lynda and others!) are all lovely - very helpful, quick to respond. The team values building relationships and providing excellent service. I first came to see Dr. Rina when I was in excruciating pain. She fit me in the same day and helped to relieve my pain and fix my tooth. She has been very informative and helpful every time I have come here. The office staff is friendly and Janet the hygienist does an excellent job. I highly recommend this dental office!

Noor – Lead Administrative Assistant and Patient Coordinator

Noor is energetic and warm. She was born and raised in India and is an international dental graduate herself. She also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Care Administration and Leadership from Sault College in Toronto.

Noor is passionate about creating a safe environment for our patients and values patient satisfaction. Moreover, she is empathetic, loves to help people and is culturally sensitive.

In her leisure time, Noor loves to travel and spend quality time with family and friends.

Sekinat – Level II Lead Dental Assistant

Sekinat graduated from the Dental Assisting (Levels I and II) Program from George Brown College in Toronto in 2014 and has been working at Dentistry on 10 since 2018. She is passionate about her job and strives to provide our patients with the best possible care. She is extremely detail-oriented and has a positive attitude towards work and life.

Apart from being a music enthusiast, Sekinat loves dancing and spending time with her family.

What issue did you have before you came here with your teeth? Before I came to see Doctor, there was a front tooth of mine which broke and that were two teeth put for me in front. Many years ago, in Tanzania and a slum. So, one day when I was eating something hard It broke so I had to come to doctor. I came and I showed Doctor and Doctor said this has to be removed. Once I remove this, we will have to put a bridge for you And I said Okay because without that two teeth in the front, I could not smile. I was looking terrible You know, so I said to doctor. Okay I’ll, I’ll, put a bridge, she said I’ll put fight for you and I said how much will it cost Doctor, and Doctor gave me the price and I told her OKAY. I have my son in Tanzania. I’m going to tell him about it, tell him about the price and see what he’s saying and asking should I do it here, Should I come to Tanzania and do it, and he told me no mum. I want you to do it with Doctor Rena. So go ahead. So, I came back and I told doctor I want to do it and she started working on me and one day I was called. That’s the day I was going to get my bridge. She told me you’ll have to have patience. You have to for three hours this work will take. I said Okay she handled me so well. The reason is I cannot lie flat on the bed, so I brought my pillow. I put my pillow and doctor worked and worked. Maybe Doctor was getting tired because you know they had to bend down, but she did it then she gave me a break after one and. 1/2 hour. I got up. I came out, had a walk, went back again, then she started again and after three hours she fixed the bridge and she said to me. Look, how do you look now? Oh God, I was shocked. I was shocked. I said doctor, look at my smile, it’s so good Now I don’t have to worry You know, so I can show Everybody, my teeth now like. That so that was it. And I’m so happy with Doctor Reena and I would recommend her to Anybody who ever wants to do a bridge Because she really handled me with care. I do not really know If I had gone some other dentist, if they would have had the patience, the patience she took with me was fantastic and I’m always thanking God for giving such a good doctor.
