Oral Care Tips

Only breast milk, plain water, formula, or milk in bottles are allowed. Avoid sugary beverages.

No bottles when going to bed.

Pacifiers shouldn't be dipped in sweet stuff.

Do not pass any disease-causing bacteria to your baby using the same utensils or putting their pacifier in your mouth.

Clean your baby's gums with a soft, wet rag before their teeth erupt.

As the child's first teeth emerge, brush them with a baby toothbrush using plain water and a tiny amount of fluoride toothpaste.

Schedule their first dental checkup as the first teeth emerge or no later than their first birthday.
