Dr. Jaya Gupta
Board certified dentist, Canada | BDS, MDS (Endodontics), India
Dr. Jaya is passionate about dentistry and has over 15 years of experience. She has a special interest in doing Root Canal Treatment that relieves patients’ pain while preserving their natural teeth and smiles. She believes in giving teeth a chance. She received her Bachelor of Dental surgery (BDS) in 2007 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore, India, and her Master of Dental surgery (MDS) in Endodontics from the prestigious Manipal University in 2010. Soon she joined the Melaka Manipal Dental College as an Assistant Professor and was involved in teaching international dental students from Malaysia. She took an interest in research and has many publications to her credit.
In 2013, she joined the Ministry of Health Kuwait as Registrar Endodontist and practiced Endodontics in Kuwait until 2021. In 2022, she pursued her re-qualification in Canada and successfully completed her equivalence (NDEB) in the first attempt in January 2024. She is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), and Women in Dentistry.
She continues to upgrade her skills by participating in various workshops and invests her time in continuing dental education to learn the recent advances in the dental field to provide quality care to her patients.
When not at work, she loves to spend time with her family, practice yoga, read books, and listen to music. She is a member of Soka Gakkai International, which is an indispensable part of her life where creating a peaceful world through trust, value creation, happiness, and harmony is the key.
